Where an unrepentant geek talks about Battlestar Galactica & Life • Est. 2009

I took advantage of the Amazon.com one-day “sweet deal” on the DVD version of the Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series set and got them in today. As I was checking them out and putting them into the custom binder I’ve had ready and waiting on them, I was annoyed to find that the Season 4.0 discs, including the The Plan, which was for some reason stuck in with those, had lame disc art. I mean frakkin’ lame. Beyond, actually.

They are blue. Just blue, and the printing of “Season 4.0″ doesn’t look all that great to the naked eye either.

For those who don’t understand my mortification, trust me, this is a geek’s worst nightmare — especially a BSG and audio/visual geek.

The rest of the seasons have the lovely artwork we’ve come to enjoy and respect for the DVD sets, but Season 4.0 discs are like a big, hairy wart on the most beautiful face in the world.

What the frak?!

On a brighter note, now that I have this set in my hands, I’ll be making any necessary updates to the binder Blu-ray set guide/inserts to make sure there’s a version for those who own this set and want to make their own custom binder.

If you enjoyed this, feel free to share it:
